Our Work / Jarrolds

Challenge

CADA’s brief from Jarrolds of Norwich was to produce a premium food hall design that would become a social hub, enticing shoppers to lengthen their average visit to the store. As a regional icon, the new store would need to attract shoppers, diners and tourists from across the region.

Solution

CADA’s innovative solution met the brief from Jarrold by installing a central bar and delicatessen area that would draw in customers, improve ATV as well as dwell time. This area was highlighted through a visually stand-out system of signage built out of copper.

Around this central hub, the team then incorporated retail elements that ensured that eating, drinking and shopping were combined and elevated to an exciting new level. A sophisticated system of lighting and category branding and signage were designed and implemented to help highlight specific hero products.

A new Phase 2 restaurant titled the Exchange has also been designed by CADA. The restaurant offers delicious wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta and salads, along with an extensive wine list.
