London’s pop-up seen is ever evolving and October is packed full of exciting and original events. Here are 4 of our favourite pop-ups happening around the city..
If you haven’t had enough of Bao’s Soho restaurant, Spice Market are bringing you a ‘Barley and Buns’ pop up which will run through to December. Like BAO, Spice Market will offer traditional Taiwanese flavours such as Pork Belly and Shrimp but we’re intrigued by their crispy soft shell crab and short rib bao buns.
With plenty of offers available, head down to 10 Wardour St. You wont be disappointed!
Can’t afford a trip to the French Alps? Pas de problème! Jimmy’s Pop-up is back for another year at ‘The Lodge‘. This year Jimmy is serving brunch, lunch and dinner with dishes including venison, wild boar scotch eggs and cheese fondue’s by the bucket. So if your looking for some festive spirit, visit their Clapham residency and give a warm mulled-wine welcome to Autumn.
McCain are partnering up with The Robin Collective to create London’s first immersive Roast Potato pop-up experience, “Sunday Best”. The menu will include roast potato kebabs, roast dinner ice cream ‘Sundays’ and the chance to dip your carbs into London’s first gravy fountain. All recipes will use McCains new frozen roast potato range.
The free tickets sold out in under and hour, but keep your eyes peeled, because a second batch are yet to be released. The event is being held on the 23rd October*
Herman Ze German are bringing a bit of Oktoberfest to London with a new pop-up bar called Willy’s which has opened in the basement of their Charlotte Street branch. They’ve collaborated with Elephant Gin and The Candlelight Club to create a delicious German-themed cocktail bar using locally sourced ingredients, spirits and wines. If you really want to be traditional, don’t forget to order a big old plate of Currywurst to line your stomachs!
