Easter is almost here, and all we’ve got to do is make it through a four day week! If you’re staying in London over the weekend, then you are in for a treat! Spend your time sipping on chocolate cocktails, indulge in afternoon teas and feast on rabbit burgers…
The Botanist are satisfying our sweet tooth’s this Easter with their playful twist on a brunch classic. They’ll be featuring a light and fluffy hot cross bun topped with a wedge of gooey marshmallow, vanilla and coconut pannacotta ‘eggs’ filled with mango yolk and drizzled with crème anglaise and lemon balm!
Foodies, prepare yourselves for an afternoon of Italian indulgence; Cafe Murano will be serving an indulgent Italian Easter feast at both restaurants with either two or three courses of traditional Italian-inspired fare. Delve into a lamb roast with salsa rossa and Jersey royals with mint and fennel; and sea bream with baby gem and Sicilian caponata. St James’ head chef Maurizio will also be recreating his mother’s Pastiera Napoletana – a traditional Easter dessert made with ricotta and orange blossom.
Make weird and wonderful chocolate creations this Easter at My Chocolate’s special workshop for cocoa loves. Build a giant flat egg or squashed chick from molten chocolate, using dipping forks to create marbled effects.
There will be a quick (and tasty) chocolate history lesson, and an opportunity to dip and decorate your quirky Easter
creations using dark chocolate ganache, milk chocolate fudge and bowls of melted chocolate.

Easter is to Rome as chocolate eggs are to the Easter bunny, of great importance. So it’s only fitting that Italian restaurant, Palatino serves a celebratory feast in homage to the Eternal City. Comprised of 4 courses the meal begins with a symbol of rebirth and the new spring, abbachio al forno, slow cooked young lamb with roast potatoes and artichokes.
Other dishes include Palatino’s now legendary bucatini carbonara and desserts such as homemade stracciatella ice cream.
