Damien Hirst has opened Pharmacy 2 in his Vauxhall based Newport Gallery.  Damien Hirst designed the vibrant and exciting interior whilst collaborating with friend, Mark Hix to curate the menu, which will concentrate on classic British and European dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

On the menu you can find avocado on toast, cuttlefish croquettes, duck curry with apple pakora, Launceston lamb pie and Peruvian gold chocolate mousse with honeycomb. The menu may play it safe, but the interior certainly makes this a show stopping destination.

This brilliant new restaurant can be found on top of The Old George pub in Bethnal Green. The pristine dining room is a brilliant shade of yellow with quaint features and fixtures accompanied by taxidermy and glass decanters. Their small but delicious menu has been curated by Head chef Jay Bond, who has mixed fine dining with seasonal British ingredients. Expect to find lamb neck croquettes, corn fed poussin and blood orange tart on the menu.

Foley’s Tasting Kitchen is soon to be Fitzrovia’s latest restaurant. Before they move in their permanent site, they are taking residence at Market Yards Guest Kitchen serving up their modern-world food menu. They’ll be serving up their cornflake crusted chicken with pickled wild mushrooms, grilled pineapple and saffron coconut curry and their truffle potato agnolotti.

Street Kitchen was founded by two London chefs passionate about creating great-tasting meals with locally sourced and innovative ingredients. The duo started off trading in an Airstream which popped up in various locations around the city and have recently moved into their first permanent site in London Fields.

They’re serving their sustainable food through breakfast, lunch and dinner and are serving up chicken broths, soft poached eggs with roasted butternut squash and hot smoked salmon with broccoli and cherry tomatoes.

Its the perfect weekend restaurant for the health conscious.
