The Brief from Sheppy's Cider
We have been working on redeveloping areas of their historic site. Encapsulating their rich heritage to create a proud and nostalgic dining and retail experience. Sheppy’s House of Cider and Fine Food will include a bar and restaurant as well as an artisanal deli with a bakery, butchery, café and cider tasting counter.
“We’ve been at Three Bridges Farm since 1917 in our attractive old brick farm buildings, where all our cider production and processing took place. In 2012, we decided we needed dedicated cider production facilities. After moving our equipment to our new facilities we decided it was time to start building up our visitor business again and bring the old buildings into new use.”
“We have always thought that the buildings could be made into a beautiful Somerset cider visitor attraction if we could only relocate production, and finally the time has come. With the help of CADA, we are creating a really striking destination. We are incorporating the history and previous use of the buildings into the design to maximise our authentic agricultural and industrial past”
Sheppy’s new-look brewery is due to open in Spring 2017.
