In 1977, a young Peter Hastings opened a charming antiques shop in downtown Chicago specialising in rustic potbelly stoves. Determined to grow the business, he started serving lunch to his customers. Almost two decades later, a young entrepreneur bought the business and there are now over 400 Potbelly stores in operation.

CADA were commissioned to design a new store concept that would introduce the American brand to the UK. Following the strong Potbelly brand guidelines, CADA has designed an eclectic scheme that fuses its American heritage with its new British residency. With its striking signage and strong interior iconography, live music and warm customer service, Potbelly makes for a fun and sociable place to eat.
