This month…Meet Vera!
Who are you and what is your job title?
My name is Vera Carvalho and I’m an Interior Designer
What does your job entail?
I create and develop interior design concepts as well as sketches and technical drawings. I also do a lot of work on the 3D side of Aldi, having been part of the Aldi team for over 3 and a half years.
How long have you worked for CADA Design?
4 years!
What is the most memorable project you have worked on?
Aldi – for sure! And Prio.
What is the most unique sketch you have done?
I had a big commercial warehouse project and we were asked to bring nature into the space. We ended up proposing a tree, made out of sustainable materials to be one of the central hubs for the store. It was really challenging and fun to come up with a way to make it work!
Do you have an unusual hobby?
Knitting!
Can you describe your dream holiday?
My dream holiday would probably be a trip around America. Not only to visit New York but to also have the chance to go on a road trip along the Californian coast.
