Last night Peacock Kitchen became a proud finalist at the Restaurant / Bar Design Awards 2016. With thousands of award submissions from over 70 countries, we are delighted to have been recognised as one of the worlds leading design agencies.
The Restaurant and Bar Design awards is a globally recognised competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces. This covers every imaginable space, from ships to airports, museums to burger vans, and from revered Michelin- starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups.
We designed Peacock Kitchen set within the heart of ‘eMart Town’ to reflect the aspirational lifestyle brand as it is today. This 20,000 square foot Food Hall was conceived to showcase eMarts own-brand the ‘Peacock – Food Collection’, alongside a cultural and educational food experience.
Lead designer Michael Sebti explains; “The challenge for eMart was to create a new type of retail space for their out of town destinations that would engage the customers’ imagination and persuade them to use eMart for their destination shop. Peacock Kitchen is an important part of this offer”.
