Westfield Stratford City Shopping Mall opened in 2011, the year before the London Olympics. It is one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe and the fourth-largest in the UK by retail space.
We collaborated with the Westfield Group to create a conceptual environment for a multi-purpose food destination within the award-winning mall and worked on wayfinding and signage solutions for the mall as a whole.
Popularly known as the Great Eastern Market the large and diverse space is home to an international selection of food operators including Grind Coffee, Tap East craft beers, Zack’s Lebanese Deli and Chip & Fish, a gourmet twist on the classic British favourite. The Market has become popular because it showcases handmade, quality products all in one place.
